With four sets of tees on each hole, measuring 6,600 yards from the tips, Shoreline suits all levels of players. Shoreline's signature hole, the 13th, is one of the most scenic holes in the metro area. Golfers are treated to the natural beauty of the golf course and a panoramic view of Carter Lake. Shoreline's practice facility also provides a large practice green for those looking to hone their short game skills. A note from Saint Mark United Methodist Church of Atlanta: Can Do Cancer is a non-profit organization that works to improve and enhance the lives of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment in Des Moines and surrounding areas. Can Do Cancer Provides: - dinner for patients and their family on chemotherapy treatment days - house cleaning services approximately once per month during treatment - a web site for patients to learn what they need to know after a breast cancer diagnosis - motivational support for patients throughout treatment Within a matter of weeks after a breast cancer diagnosis, many patients begin chemotherapy and undergo surgery, all the while trying to learn about breast cancer. This can be an overwhelming time. Medical information is provided to patients via health care providers. Can Do Cancer provides practical information and services to help women navigate through cancer and make the journey a bit easier.
