Every drop of our beer is brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned at our brewery in downtown Des Moines. Built in what was once a soap & cosmetics factory, Exile has a look and layout that is all its own. We take great pride in the brewery we’ve been building since 2012. Schedule a tour, we love showing it off! Our North American-made, 4-vessel, 30-bbl brew house is the steam powered engine of Exile Brewing Co. With step-infusion and decoction capabilities and a modern-day, open lauter grant, this beauty is truly an original. The wort produced here goes through a traditional fermentation and lagering process that ensures consistency and quality throughout every beer.
A note from Saint Mark United Methodist Church of Atlanta: Can Do Cancer is a non-profit organization that works to improve and enhance the lives of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment in Des Moines and surrounding areas.
Can Do Cancer Provides:
- dinner for patients and their family on chemotherapy treatment days
- house cleaning services approximately once per month during treatment
- a web site for patients to learn what they need to know after a breast cancer diagnosis
- motivational support for patients throughout treatment
Within a matter of weeks after a breast cancer diagnosis, many patients begin chemotherapy and undergo surgery, all the while trying to learn about breast cancer. This can be an overwhelming time. Medical information is provided to patients via health care providers. Can Do Cancer provides practical information and services to help women navigate through cancer and make the journey a bit easier.
