In 2001, The Hong Kong Association of Northern California (HKANC) initiated a Scholarship fund designed to provide scholarships to undergraduate university students of high academic distinction. This is based on the belief that investing in today’s youth will help to ensure that students strive to achieve their goals and to develop into leaders of tomorrow. As of to date, more than $465,000 in scholarship funds have been donated to the University and Colleges in the Northern California.
