July 4 and Labor Day weekends may be available for last minute reservations. Unavailable Memorial Weekend, last week in July and three weeks in August. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, nights available in May and from September 16 to November 11. First floor, with 5 steps up to front door. One combination tub/shower; one walk-in shower; ADA shower chair. 3-1/2 blocks from the w-i-d-e, flat, safe Wildwood beach and the south end of the Boardwalk. Sleeps 7-8. One bedroom is very small, suitable for one adult or two children. Non-smoking property; no vaping, cannabis or cigars. A well-behaved, leashed dog of less than 50 lbs. that will not bark at the neighbors or a cat that will not sharpen claws on furniture ok, but please advise well in advance. We reserve the right to refuse dogs that insurance lists as dangerous breeds. Rabies certificates for dog and cat must be provided. The WWs have a dog park and a dog beach. Early check-in and/or late check out possible with availability. This is not a glamorous townhome condo. It is a flat with a front porch in a 60’s vintage stucco house. Full kitchen, with pantry staples. Air conditioning & heat, gas grill, internet, satellite & Roku TVs, and heritage PlayStation. All bed, bath, and kitchen linens included. Beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, and beach cart. On-street parking; driveway for loading & unloading twice a day for 30 minutes only. No sales or hotel room tax! No beach tag fees! Walking distance to restaurants and pharmacies. Fall weather at the Jersey Cape is warmer than in the rest of New Jersey. Weather similar to Delmarva Peninsula; plenty of swimming days left in September. Fall is the best fishing! Wildwood is a short drive to Cape May, to the Bay Shore area and its Wildlife Management Areas, to the free Cape May Zoo and Park (where certain lucky animals from the Philadelphia Zoo come for summer vacation) and to the living history museum village, Cold Spring Village. Check wildwoodnj.org and wildwoodcrest.org, and Cape May County for the event calendars. Hint: Check the website of Citizens United to Protect the Maurice River for their events taking place in the Bayshore Region, including the Monarch Butterfly Migration. See the monarchs gather near Cape May Point as they prepare to cross the Delaware Bay on the first leg of their southern migration, or reserve seats on a non-profit’s Maurice River tour or a Delaware Bay Lighthouse tour. Or, take a ride on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry to historic Lewes, DE. Remember: We are not frilly Victorian Cape May and we are not that casino city up the Parkway. We are comfy, down-to-earth, back-to-the-60s Wildwood! BRING YOUR RE-USABLE BAGS! NO PLASTIC BAGS OR STYROFOAM IN NJ! If you must bring disposable dishes, please make them paper and not hard plastic or Styrofoam. Please do not bring cases of water bottled in plastic. No expiration date for redemption.
